YEAR END SALE! Scarce Antique BACCARAT 12 PETAL White Double Clematis with2 Buds

This paperweight features a TWELVE petal Double Clematis (two layers of six petals in each layer) in white. The petals are made with thin rods of white glass such that they are ribbed on both the front AND back. The petals in this flower are VERY tightly formed giving the flower a nearly solid appearance. Accompanying the Clematis are two white buds, all set with six leaves and intertwined stems. The center of the flower is a white stardust cane with red whorl center.

The weight is a near miniature at just under 2-1/8" in diameter and 1-9/16" high. It has one top facet, six side facets, and has a star-cut base. Other than some "micro-nicks" (smaller than 1/32) to the edges of the facets the weight APPEARS TO BE NEAR PERFECT AND DOES NOT NEED POLISHING.

There is also the correct amount of wear to the base rim to confirm the age, but this is appropriate for the piece and does not detract. The item "YEAR END SALE!
