Wedgwood Kings Lynne Glass Candle Holders Three Ring Mid Century Sheringham

Set of two Kings Lynn, Wedgwood glass Candle Holders. This listing is for a pair of Rare vintage, three Disk, Sheringham Candlesticks in Topaz colourway. The "Sheringham" was designed by Ronald Stennett Wilson for Kings Lynn Glass, which he founded in 1967. He was inspired by Scandinavian design as reflected in the shape of these candle holders. The Sheringham design came in six sizes, measured by the number of disks; 1,2,3,5,7, and 9. The greater number of disks, the more difficult and expensive the candle stick was to make.

Each stem and disk was hand formed individually and then assembled to complete the candlestick. These candle holders were made in clear, blue, amethyst, topaz and green glass.

This Both candle holders are acid etched to the underside with the Wedgwood name. Some of the early sticks only came with a sticker label. This topaz color is very pretty, a cross between pink, coral and amber. I have tried to capture this unusual colour in my photographs.
