Unique Perthshire Concentric Millefiori with OASIS Cane

Perthshire was continuously experimenting with ever more difficult picture canes. This paperweight has probably the only example of an experimental "Oasis" cane at the center encircled by five close-set rings of millefiori canes.

The cane shows a small White dog at the bottom and three robed figures. There are several white spots in the cane and it was never used in a production weight. The paperweight is 2-5/8" in diameter and 1-15/16" high.
