Uncommon PERTHSHIRE Green Double Overlay Bouquet, #125 of 200

The factory designation for this weight is 1996F. Dark Green over White is an unusual overlay combination and is rarely seen. This striking 1996 paperweight from Perthshire uses that Green overlay to enclose a shaded green cushion.

A five flower bouquet with dark blue, red, purple, and pink flowers set around a center orange flower rests on this inner cushion. The weight is 3" in diameter and 2-1/4" high. It has a one top facet and two rows of six side facets in each row and is signed with a "P1996" cane in the base. The edition size was not more than 200 worldwide. See page 63 of "The Complete Guide to Perthshire Paperweights" by Mahoney/McClanahan. This is number 125 and is so marked on the bottom.
