St Saint Louis Faceted King Tut Gold Sulphide with Millefiori Garland Ring on Marine Blue Ground. It has a beautiful 24K Gold Sulphide of the Mask of King Tut surrounded by a lovely and delicate millefiori cane ring. It is from a limited edition that was made in two colors, marine or turquoise blue and tangerine orange, and it was exclusively distributed in the US by Mr. There were to be 600 produced worldwide, with only 300 sent to the US. It is not clear if the edition was ever completed.

This paperweight is in excellent condition. It has the identifying SL1979 date cane in its base. The weight is carefully faceted with six side facets and one top facet.

Each facet perfectly magnifies the image inside. The top facet reflects all areas of the sulphide beautifully as the photos show. The weight is approximately 3 inches across. The original Saint Louis label is taped to the underside. King Tut's Tomb was one of the most important archeological finds of the past century and during the 1970's many of the artifacts were sent around the world to be seen in museums worldwide. This paperweight was one of many beautiful tributes to the history of King Tut and his legend.
