Spectacular little handmade jewelry jar done in the Art Nouveau style like Steuben and Tiffany... Amazing craftsmanship with thick-walled, paperweight construction and small pink florets layered into the surface with lovely green vines and leaves. The decoration trails from the well fitted lid, down to the body of the jar, circling the shoulder and the vines match/line up, from lid to jar!
An iridescent gold ground adds a richness to the piece, and a wonderful shimmer. In order to effectively illuminate the surface of such items, we surround them with white board, and light the board so that the iridescent surface sees a color balanced, clean and even white light, thus properly illuminating (most of) the surface and decoration of the object.
