Prototype for Perthshire LE 1982E'Nursery Rhyme' paperweight: 76 mm / 3 inch diameter. Description: This is a prototype design made by the long closed Scottish company Perthshire Paperweights in 1982. It was in preparation for the Annual Collection Limited Edition 1982E'Nursery Rhyme' silhouette paperweight, which was issued with a blue ground and a cane cluster at the centre, together with a multi-coloured garland. This protoype is based on the 1981 Christmas Silhouette design, the only difference from the Christmas paperweight being the'nursery rhyme' silhouettes rather than'Christmas theme' ones. Concave polished base with P1982 date / signature cane.

Size : diameter 3 inch / 76 mm; height 2 1/16 inch / 52 mm. Condition : very good; no chips, bruises, or scratches other than some slight'shelf wear' on the base. Please remember this is not a brand new item - it is over 30 years old, and you may be able to find minuscule marks if you search using a magnifying glass. USA and most other places.
