Perthshire Closepack, Butterscotch Overlay (6 of 28)

This paperweight was made by Perthshire of Scotland. The central motif features a potpourri of complex millefiori. The canes are pulled down to the base. The central motif is presented in butterscotch over white overlay.

The weight has a top facet, four large circular facets and two oval facets between the circular facets. Underneath the oval facets is a white spot. It appears as if an additional facet was considered but never executed. The base contains a 1981P signature cane. The base is also scratch signed 11/250.
