PERTHSHIRE 1987 Bald Eagle Hollow Weight L/E

The factory designation for this weight is 1987F. This is the seventh in a series of Hollow paperweights Perthshire made beginning with the 1973 "Swan in the Pond".

This one features a Bald Eagle standing on a mottled Pink Dome, all within a light Ruby Flash overlay. The weight has one top facet, eight large oval upper side facets, and eight smaller round lower side facets.

It is a MAGNUM at 3-1/2" in diameter and 2-3/4" high, and is signed with a "P1987" cane in the base. The Edition size was limited to 300 pieces, however only 198 were actually made. (See page 46 of "The Complete Guide to Perthshire Paperweights" by Mahoney/McClanahan).
