Perthshire 1983 PP63 Cross Form Millefiori L/E

THE PROCEEDS FROM THIS SALE WILL GO TO THE BERGSTROM MAHLER MUSEUM OF GLASS. The PP63 design was made by Perthshire beginning in 1983 and continuing through 1996 with a design change each year. This is the first PP63 design. A cross form of twisted ribbons with a single large cane at the outer ends separates four panels of millefiori canes set in a 1-3-4-5 pattern. An outer garland of small Orange/White canes completes the design.

The millefiori rests on a translucent dark Amethyst ground. The paperweight is 2" in diameter and 1-1/2" high and is signed with a "P1983" cane in the base.
