The delicate stamens and veining in the flowers and leaves shows masterful glass artistry. The design is resting upon a unique golden dappled background. Beneath the gold is another layer of creamy white for visual contrast. Both layers catch the light beautifully.

This Iris pattern is unique to Ed Alexander, one of Orient and Flume's premier glass artists. Etched on the base are Orient & Flume 232/250 Alexander and what I think reads D408P42FN11123SA. This weight measures approximately 3+ inches in height. The condition of this paperweight is excellent as from the factory, truly a prize to add to someones paperweight collection. Please note mention of a tiny tiny dimple made during the glass process in the glass on one of the leaves that was unable to be captured in a photo.
