Orient & Flume Butterfly and Ferns Paperweight by Bruce Sillars 1984 Date Cane

This is an Orient and Flume silver blue iridescent paperweight featuring a butterfly, fern, and fiddlehead fern. It was created by Bruce Sillars in 1984. The item is 2-7/8" (7.3 cm) tall and measures 3" (7.6 cm) in diameter. The piece is in excellent condition without chips, flea bites, or scratches. The weight has an Orient and Flume date cane. These are not often found. From what we know, these canes were only used in 1983-84 and not all weights produced in those years included one. It is signed on the base Orient & Flume C17N1984 B.
