Nice Antique BACCARAT Blue/White Primrose with Star-Cut Base

A single Blue/White "Primrose" with banded petal accents floats in the center of this clear antique (circa 1850) paperweight from Baccarat. The "Primrose" is identified by the "smooth ends" on the tips of the petals and the alternating bands of white and color in the petals. The other two basic Baccarat flower designs are the "Anemone" and the "Dog Rose".

The center of this flower is a Red whorl cane surrounded by two rings of "stardust" canes. The flower is set with a stem and seven Green leaves. The weight is 2-7/16 in diameter and 1-3/4 high. It has a Star cut base. It has been professionally polished, and condition is perfect.
