MILLVILLE FOOTED Pink ROSE, Made by Harry Caralluzzo

An expert on Millville Roses has identified this as having been made by. Caralluzzo worked from about 1940 to about 1970. This Millville crimp rose has four sets of petals and three translucent Green leaves. The paperweight has a clear foot. The ball is 3-1/16" in diameter and the weight including the foot is 3" high.

It has the "X" (or Cloverleaf) pontil mark characteristic of some classic Millville Roses. The base rim of the foot shows wear confirming the age of the piece.
