This work is the 264th piece that he made using this technique. It is large and exceptionally beautiful work. Blown and hot sculpted glass. Signed and dated by the artist.

Measures approximately 9 1/4 tall. The hefty vessel exhibits a luscious garden with a mass of undergrowth.

Peiser placed ascending numbers on each series of vases he created. This vase was his 264th in the paperweight series, the last vase created bore the number 372. This vessel depicts a visual representation of a colorful garden. While Mark Peiser has created a variety of work throughout his career, the paperweight vessels series were both the most challenging and time consuming.
