Large JOSH SIMPSON NEW MEXICO POSSIBLY INHABITED PLANET PAPERWEIGHT Blues, 3

For your consideration is a large, striking, Josh Simpson, art glass paperweight that is part of his New Mexico series. It features swirling seas and a few pale yellow constellations near the base. (see photos 2, 5 and 8) There is a hint of new, pale golden/ green continents being formed. It measures 3 inches in diameter and stands approximately 2 3/4 inches tall. This paperweight is from Simpson's "possibly inhabited planet" series. The piece is in good condition without cracks, scratches or chips. The flat bottom has the signature and the date which appears to to 89. There is also a number: 11-8.

Its a fabulous planet and would be a wonderful addition to your signed art glass collection. 3 small acrylic pads have been applied to the base of the paperweight to retard scratching of surfaces. Several can fit in a flat rate box.
