John Deacons magnum piedouche paperweight: 84 mm / 3 5/16 inch tall. Description: Superb, technically complex magnum sized paperweight made by the Scottish craftsman John Deacons around 2010. A lampwork flower, stem and leaves sits on a cushion of tumbled latticino within a blue on white double overlay; the latter has complex cutting and facetting. Signed near the flower stem with a JD cane. There is then a mid section with coloured latticino staves, and finally a clear octagonal foot. Concave polished base with label. Size : diameter 3 3/8 inch / 86 mm; height 3 5/16 inch / 84 mm. C ondition : very good; no chips, bruises, or scratches.
