John Deacons double overlay bouquet glass paperweight 1995 / presse papiers

John Deacons double overlay paperweight: 80 mm / 3 1/8 inch diameter. Description: Special cut double overlay bouquet paperweight, made by the Scottish craftsman John Deacons in 1995. Two classical style lampwork flowers with leaves and stems are set on a latticino crown cushion, which is encased in clear glass. This then has a yellow on white double overlay with detailed cutting and facetting.

There is a tiny pinprick sized flaw visible as additional white material in the middle of the overlay layers, at the edge of the top facet (at 3 o'clock in the top view); I think it is a speck of cullet or potstone. Concave polished base centred by a'JHD 1995' date and signature cane. Size : diameter 3 1/8 inch / 80 mm; height 2 1/8 inch / 55 mm. C ondition : very good; no chips, bruises, or scratches.

Minuscule manufacturing flaw as noted above. USA and most other places. Bank transfer / wire transfer.
