Jeremiah Lotton Studios Signed Magnum Morning Glories 4 Art Glass Paperweight. Jeremiah Lotton Art Glass Paperweight. Six pink blooms emerge from interwoven vines, heart shaped leaves, yellow pistils. Signed on polished base - dated 2006.
Heavy - weighs just under 3 1/2 lbs. 4 1/4" across and 3 5/8" tall. I find a very faint curved 1/4 line in glass (doesn't show up clearly in photos, must inspect closely to find above flowers). If you look at the picture set at top of listing, I marked with red arrow in last photo. Some surface wear on polished bottom.
Jeremiah Lotton was born into a family of successful American glass artists. At 13, Jeremiah worked in his father's studio learning to build and maintain glass furnaces. He also learned how to use glass polishing equipment and began to gain a general understanding of how a glass studio functions.
At 15, he began working with the hot glass itself, and by 17 he had developed his own line of designs. I have taken several photos and these provide additional description. White glare spots from light source and window.
