Great Vintage Orient & Flume Studio Art Glass Paperweight Red Bird Flowers 1977

GREAT VINTAGE ORIENT & FLUME STUDIO ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT RED BIRD FLOWERS 1977. A beautiful piece of contemporary American hand-made studio art glass in the form of a gorgeous paperweight featuring a red bird perched atop a cluster of white flowers on long green stems. The paperweight is further decorated with a "pulled feather" design around the bottom edge as well. It is done primarily in the colors of blue and green.

It was hand-made by the very talented glass artists at Orient & Flume Studios in California. This piece and has been part of my personal collection since the year 1995. The piece in my photos is the actual piece you will receive. Please be sure to read the "Age and Condition" and "Approximate Dimensions" paragraphs below.

The underside is scratch signed with the words "Orient & Flume" and the numbers "077S 1977" - see my photos. I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability.

Our store has many unique and interesting items in several different categories from 35 years of our dealing and collecting antiques and collectables. It is in near mint original condition. Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item.

There are no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines or repairs, only some very light signs of age-related wear or use to the underside where the piece sits. Basically, it looks like new. Please keep in mind these photos can be blown up at least 8X-10X times normal, so anything you see will look 8X-10X times larger than it really is. Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos. It is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece. It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo. It is about 3" (7.6 cm) in diameter at the widest point and measures about 2.5" (6.4 cm) tall. About 1 pound 1.625 ounces (501 grams).
