GLASS EYE STUDIO BLACK HOLE PAPERWEIGHT Celestial Series, 3 1/8, 2000 Signed
For your consideration is a striking, GLASS EYE STUDIO, art glass, paperweight. It is the BLACK HOLE from the Celestial Series. It measures approximately 3 1/8 inches tall and 3 inches wide. A two inch viewing window is at the front. Look inside and you an see that the BLACK HOLE is sucking in sparking aqua, silver and gold matter.
The outside is done in a soft, iridescent satin glass. In some lights there are patches of aqua, teal, blue, magenta and burnished pale gold. The piece is in very good condition without cracks, scratches or chips.
The bottom is signed "BLACK HOLE", GES, 00 (2000). This would make a wonderful addition to your signed art glass collection or give it as a gift. I have a similar one listed.
