Fine Eickholt Art Glass 7 Vase Paperweight Pink Lilies Signed Eickholt 2005
Eickholt started his glass company in 1978 and made many forms of beautiful art glass through the years. He retired in 2013 after a very successful career as a glass artist. This vase features three large flowers with pink & white petals and having yellow & black centers. The flowers remind me very much of lilies.
The primary background is a creamy beige color and there is a purple background at the base which makes a beautiful contrast with the pink flowers. The glass is thick and the vase is heavy at 2.33 pounds. It has been on display in my art glass collection since then.The vase is in excellent pre-owned condition with no discoloration, chips, cracks, repairs or damage. There could be small surface scratches but I do not feel any on the surface.
I never placed flowers in the vase so the glass is free of residue & discoloration. I also kept the vase out of the direct sunlight which can darken the glass.
