Fabulous! CORREIA BLUE STRIPED SNAKE PAPERWEIGHT 3.5, Signed, Numbered, 1992

For your consideration is a wonderful studio art glass paperweight done by Correia. It is approximately 3 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches at its widest point.

A bluish-green, bright colored silver striped, applied glass, snake is coiled around the top. It has a red forked tongue and eyes which are also applied. The paperweight is clear with a veil of iridescent rainbow hued flecks inside. In some lights you can see magenta, blue, teal and gold.

(see photo #9) This is signed Correia and numbered WS1531. It is dated 2.92.11.

There are no chips or cracks. A few minor scratches appear on the base where it rests. It is a very unusual piece!
