Delightful and Colorful Paul Stankard First Bouquet Floral Paperweight. One of Paul's early break through weights into the world of 3 dimensional lamp work cased in glass that led to this artist commonly being referred to as the father of the modern paperweight. Measures about 3" in diameter and 2 1/4" in height. Has a concave basil rim base.

Inscribed on it's side is the Artist Signature Paul J. Stankard" along with "A743 1978" and an "S Cane. In very good condition with minor bite and light shelf wear to the base.
