Antique Clichy, Seven-Row, Close Concentric (8 of 28)

This antique paperweight was made by Clichy during the classic period (1845 to 1860) of French paperweights. The central motif is a complex center cane surrounded by seven-close concentric rows of millefiori canes. Each row is tight and the colors are magnificent.

The bad news is there is an annealing crack running around the perimeter and through the pedestal base. The dome of the paperweight is free of chips, scratches or other damage. D=2 5/8 and H=1 15/16.
