Antique ca. 1850 SMALL French CLICHY Glass SWIRL Paperweight with ROSE CANE

An untouched, circa 1850, small French Clichy swirl paperweight with alternating cobalt-blue and white rods radiating clockwise from a central pink and light green rose cane. Scratches on top of the dome, not felt by hand. The slightly concave base with frosted basal ring shows several pits and shallow chips. Two 2 mm chips can be seen just above the bottom rim.

On the good side is the lack of air bubbles. Diameter: 5.5 cm (2.2") Height: 4.2 cm (1.7") Weight: 239 g.
