Antique BACCARAT Dupont Garlands with Fake 1815 Date Cane Art Glass PAPERWEIGHT

A Wonderful and Lovely Antique Baccarat Art Glass Paperweight from the Dupont. Much mystery and confusion surrounds these so-called Baccarat "Dupont" paperweights. But they ARE attributed to BACCARAT. This one features five circular garland rings, all set around a center 1815 (fake) date cane that is encircled by a ring of Red canes.

A ring of Red/Yellow-Green canes encircles the design and intersects the five garland rings. This paperweight is 3" in diameter and 2-3/16" tall. It is not signed, however attribution is positive.

The paperweight has been professionally polished and other than wear to the base rim confirming the age. Please check pictures for further description. The Stand is not part of this sale and is only used here for illustrative purposes.
