A Baccarat concentric paperweight Date : c1850 Origin : Baccarat, France Features : Three row concentric weight with typical Baccarat "dart" canes Marks : None Type : Lead Size : 5.25cm, 2 1/16 diameter Condition : A flake chip 1cm x 0.8cms to the lower flank of the base and a small bruise. An area of light scratches on upper surface Restoration : None Weight : 185 grams. Despite the damage this remains a rare concentric weight. I have been involved in the antiques business since 1971. My career took a leap forward when I joined Bonhams in 1976. Some five years later I became head of the Decorative Arts department.
