1953 Cristal St. Louis France Sulphide Paperweight Queen Elizabeth II Coronation
This is a rare commemorative sulphide paperweight by St. The piece was made in 1953 to celebrate the coronation of HRH Queen Elizabeth II. The piece is made of clear lead crystal with circular'panels' at the top and in a hexagonal pattern around the edge. The base of the piece holds a sulphide cameo portrait of the Queen, surrounded by a ring of alternating millefiore spheres in reds, whites, and greens.
The piece is in good vintage condition with only one VERY small flake (see photos) but no other signs of wear or damage. The piece measures 1.9" tall and 3" wide.
