An Exceptional 3 Antique Glass Paperweight. With an American penny inside!
A perfect example of American Art Glass whimsy, this antique glass paperweight houses a Wheatie penny! While the copper penny adds charm, this hand-blown ornament is full of End-of-Day yellow, red, white, and black color splash! The penny has plenty of room to freely dance in the paperweight, and changes size depending on your perspective! This piece is unsigned but bears a rough base where a pontil scar was removed flat.
The American Wheatie penny is from 1919. The piece is likely a product of early 20. Century glassworks in the Midwest or East Coast. Other paperweights will be added in the next few months.
