Vintage Whitefriars concentric millefiori glass paperweight / presse papiers

Whitefriars concentric millefiori paperweight : 78 mm / 3 1/16 inch diameter. P1 design, 1960s - 1970s. Description: Large concentric millefiori paperweight from the famous English company Whitefriars. Made in heavy lead crystal, this example of their P1 design incorporates 6 unusual complex lilac canes. Some slight'cordimg / sugaring' in the clear glass when viewed from the side, and a couple of tiny bubbles.

Size : diameter 3 1/16 inch / 78 mm; height 2 1/4 inch / 57 mm. Condition : very good; no chips, bruises, or scratches other than a couple of tiny, near invisible surface marks low down on the side.
