Vintage Perthshire LE 1971B garlanded pansy glass paperweight / presse papiers

Signed and dated P 1971. Description: Early Limited Edition paperweight from the long closed Scottish company Perthshire Paperweights. This is their Annual Collection 1971B design, with a lampwork pansy and leaves set on tumbled white latticino.

The design is garlanded with compex millefiori canes. Top facet and eight side facets. Signed and dated with a'P1971' cane at the centre of the concave polished base.

Size : diameter 2 5/8 inch / 67 mm; height 1 11/16 inch / 43 mm. C ondition : very good; no chips, bruises, or scratches. Small manufacturing flaw to one yellow petal. Please remember this is not a brand new item: it is over 40 years old - you may be able to find minuscule marks if you search using a magnifying glass.
