Striking GES MILKY WAY PAPERWEIGHT Celestial Series, 2002, Velvet Box & Card

For your consideration is a wonderful art glass, MILKY WAY , paperweight done by the Glass Eye Studio. The piece measures 3 1/8 inches in diameter and stands 3 inches tall. The exterior is done in clear glass with diagonal blue stripes on the sides and back. There are also a few splashes of gold that can be seen.

A clear, circular viewing pane is at the front of the piece. When you look inside you can see the swirling Milky Way. It is done in swirling patterns of opalescent white, magenta, pink and blue. This paperweight is from the CELESTIAL SERIES and is in excellent condition without cracks, scratches or chips.

The flat bottom reads: MILKY WAY, GES, 02. Its an amazing piece and would be a wonderful addition to your signed art glass collection. This comes in a deep blue velvet GLASS EYE STUDIO satin lined box and also includes an accordion folded brochure describing paperweights from this series.
