PERTHSHIRE 2001F Scarlet Pimpernel, L/E #26 of 150

The Scarlet Pimpernel is a common wild flower in Europe and eastern Asia. Three bright Red Scarlet Pimpernel flowers are set at the center of a spray that includes Red and Pink buds, stems, and Green leaves.

The paperweight has one top facet and two rows of five large oval side facets in each row. The bottom is fully star-cut. When viewed from the top the star-cut is reflected in the side facets and accents the floral design.

The weigh is 2-13/16" in diameter and 2-9/16" high. It is signed with a "P26" on the bottom edge indicating this is #26 in the edition. The edition size was limited to not more than 150 pieces.
