LOVELY& SCARCE Perthshire PP15 PATTERNED MILLEFIORI ArtGlass Paperweight INKWELL

LOVELY Perthshire PP15 Close-Packed Pattern MILLEFIORI Art Glass Paperweight INKWELL. On a Translucent Cobalt Blue Ground. It has the Traditional Perthshire Signature. P cane which is Centered in the center of the Stopper. The PP15 can be seen in The Complete Guide to Perthshire Paperweights Book on page 87.

This is a hard one to locate if you are trying to complete the set of Inkwells that Perthshire made over the years. The Motif in the STOPPER is a Close-Packed Pattern Millefiori. The Stopper has 8 small facets surrounding the large top facet. The design rests on an Cobalt Blue Cushion Ground. The Bottom Portion has 8 large facets and 8 smaller facets which are alternating. The INKWELL measures approximately 3 1/2" in Diameter at it's widest point by 6" Tall with the Stopper in place. Bottom shows light shelf wear. I consider this Lovely Paperweight to be in Excellent Original Vintage Condition.

Of Course it goes with out saying that no collection is really complete with out several Perthishire weights in it. Please check pictures for further description. The Stand is not part of this sale and is only used here for illustrative purposes.
