The strange things are that the murrine (two portraits of King Vittorio Emanuele III) included in the paperweight were created in 1888 by L. We can suppose the paperweight was made using old leftovers of filigree and twisted rods, to copy the paperweight of P. Bigaglia and contemporary murrine were inserted, perhaps by the Moretti themselves. These charges are under the buyers responsibility.
